Alamofire version: Beta 5. TestAlamofire 2. Please let us know the possible workaround for this issue. Previously, it seems like the system let it run for a few seconds after the transition to the background.

In iOS 12, it seems like it cancels the tasks immediately upon transition. If you'd like this to work, you should look into using background tasks. Luckily, with the EventMonitor protocol in Alamofire 5, support backgrounds tasks becomes pretty trivial. Inline documentation exists, so you can check the generated docs.

All seems to be URLSession delegates which alamofire use internally. There's no bug here. If you need to handle background tasks, you can implement them using the linked documentation. As for EventMonitor documentation, its inline documentation is fully up to date and available in our API documentation. Usage guides for advanced features like this are being worked on but not ready yet as we work towards the final 5.

For anyone interested, we built a retrier for requests that works around this issue by retrying couple of times. This is written for Alamofire 4, but should be straightforward to rewrite for Alamofire 5. That's a good point DenTelezhkin. And Alamofire 5 now has an error retrier built in: RetryPolicy. It doesn't support error 53 right now, just URLError s, but you could use it as a base for a retrier that does support. In fact, we should allow it to be more flexible in the future so it can be used for things like this.

DenTelezhkin How do you include that retrier in your Alamofire code?

Once I disconnect and connect to my hotspot public internet off my cell phone, the connection establishes. I checked our network management toolset and and I see the sessions flowing through the 6xxxx port only without any blockages.

The srx fw rule set is configured from internal to out and allows the 6xxxx port to the server along with port When I connect from the public internet, I get acknowledged immediately for the servers host key and once acknowledged, I'm connected with the directory structure. When I connect on the network, I get the below: Status: Connecting to serverhost:6xxxx I checked the wireshark logs on and all of the packets are being dropped FROM the server back to the network.

I see the traffic flowing from internal out and a ton of restransmissions Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this further from the SRX? Thank you! Sorry, I can't provide a companies configuration to the public.

As you want you don't have to share secret not related data in the SRX config. Most likely some Policy or NAT is interfering with the connection. I had this issue before. What version of JunOS are you running? I had then when upgrading from version Do you have the configs which were used for your application sets? On my policy, I have the ssh port 22 and the custom 6xxxx port configured. Would both require custom alg appliation sets? Traffic from the dest to source eventually gets it's packets dropped "packet dropped, first pak not sync" probably due to the session timing out.

The only way to dismiss this is to user another simulator or my actual phone. I don't know how to fix it for real though, don't even know what that error means.

It's not exactly descriptive. Any suggestions? Tbh, I have no clue what this error means. It comes and goes occassionally. I have to clean the project, switch to another simulator or switch from the Xcode 10 Beta stable Xcode version to the current stable version of Xcode. I'm just lost with this error. Are you seeing this message while building your app? I'm seeing this message while building my app and when I try to run on device or simulator.

With Xcode 10 beta 5 worked perfectly. What I need to know is whether you see this during the build of your app? Or whether you see it at runtime? A good diagnostic test is as follows:. Do you see the error now? I have the same issue, when trying to build my App. I converted the project from Swift 3 to 4. All submodules to build only my project failes.

Solution 1: go to Build settings an choose compilation mode 'Whole Module' instead of 'Incremental' - I'm not sure if this solution is always a good choice. Solution 2: When using Xcode Go to Swift. Go the Menu and select Toolchain 4. But now I'm not able to do Swift 5 migration - looks like the the Xcode default toolchain gets used. You seem to be the person on this thread who knows the most.

I'm trying to build my unit test. My test class is DTGenome, and the only function in it is testGenome. It has been building just fine all day, but it suddenly started choking. At first it was saying the name of one of my protocols. I made a few different random changes to the protocol, like private to public, or changing the name of one of the functions in the protocol, just random stuff.
